I remember seeing on television in the last 6 months an interview with a university lecturer who had developed a system that predicts football goal scorers and who will win the match. The technique predicted on information that was currently processed in to the method, for illustration in the system was all the preceding matches amongst two sides and all the outcomes, and from this it was ready to give a prediction.
